One of the most special characteristics of Neuguss is that on one hand, it helps to increase and assure the assets of the partner institutions. On the other hand, it is important to us, to handle financial yields in a responsible way. This way, part of the assets are used for cultural and educational aims as well as the area of the biological-dynamical agriculture. This is done in cooperation with our partners, the alfred rexroth foundation and the » GLS Trust (german: GLS-Treuhand e.V.).

GLS Trust

Die GLS Trust and Neuguss are connected in a historical way. In his last will, Alfred Rexroth initiated the combination of the two institutions. Assets were aimed to support non-profit purposes. The cooperation of 1961 still exists and is the essential foundation of our work. After the first donations, the inquiry of credits increased. Thus, 1974, the » GLS bank was founded, which closely cooperated with the GLS Trust.

Donating and endowment

The GLS Trust supports non-profit projects striving for an open and active society. It mediates between people, who are interested in donating money and initiatives, who require financial support. The GLS is cooperating with their own foundations and manages e.g. also the trusts of the alfred rexroth foundation. They further help us decide which financial proposal to choose in order to wisely donate financial support.

Education

The financial support of education inherits a large potential, which has an impact on both the small as well as large scale. Beside the cooperation with the GLS Trust, Neuguss is connected to the Alanus and Cusanus University due to its support programme. Additionally, one of our shareholders works there as a lecturer and we finanially support both of these universities.

A healthy society is based on the quality of the money donated. This is particularly true with regard to the support of the education of young people, who are engaged in a healthy and sustainable world. The base for this engagement is one of the main focus of Neuguss.

Agriculture

The biodynamic economy is one of the oldest agriculture and is based on the impulse of Rudolf Steiner. The biodynamic agriculture is one of the most sustainable form of land management. In order to fulfil our responsibility, we foster different projects and educational programmes. One of such programmes is the company owned agricultural farm Neuwerder. The owner offers boxes including farm products. We further support the Goetheanum, the Bioboden-Fonds of the GLS bank or the bees wax project of the apiarist organisation de Immen. In cooperation with the GLS trust, we also support the "future agriculture foundation" ("Zukunftsstiftung Landwirtschaft").

The experiences made with respect to the exchange with farmers and the knowledge of their challenges elucidates a new dynamic.
